Puerto Rican Rice with pigeon peas

  • 1 pound  fresh pigeon peas
  • water sups
  • very small amout of sait
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 4 ounces canadian bacon , diced
  • 1 medium onion , chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper , sennremved
  • 1 medium tomato, and chopped
  • cubael pepper , seeds removed
  • 2 1/4  cups long grain white rise
  • 6 stuffed green olives , diced
  •  1 teaspoon caper 
  • 6 sprigs colander chopped
  • 1/4 cup tomat sause
